BREADED SEAFOOD (frito misto)
A mix of breadcrumbed seafood consisting of mussels, whitebait, butterfly prawns & other fresh fish as available served in a gaufrette potato basket with salad & tartar sauce. £5.25
PICKLED PEAR BLUE VINNEY & WALNUT TART
A shortcrust pastry case filled with garlic & herb flavoured sautéed onions & walnuts topped with red wine pickled pears & finished with crumbled Blue vinney cheese. Served warm with a red onion & orange relish. £5.00
DEVILLED BABY FAGGOTS
A trio of baby faggots made from our own recipe. Served in a homemade Yorkshire pudding topped with devilled sauce. A spicy sauce of tomato, Worcester sauce, mustard, cayenne & cream. £ 4.95
FETA IN HOT PEPPER SAUCE
My adaption of a dish I had in Georgopoli in Crete, a warming dish of chunks of feta cheese baked in a spicy sweet pepper, garlic & tomato sauce with chunky dipping bread & a spicy watercress salad. £4.90
GAME TERRINE WITH REDCURRANT JELLY
A combination of pork & game marinated in olive oil, red wine, juniper & orange, wrapped in bacon & slow poached in the oven, cooled & served with redcurrant jelly & salad. £4.95 (Caution this dish may contain buckshot)
CURRIED ROAST PARSNIP & APPLE SOUP
Sweet parsnips roasted with curry spices are combined with bramley apples to make this soup served with a swirl of cream, puppodum shards & mango chutney. £4.75

GREEK STYLE VEGGI CUTLETS WITH AUBERGINE
Our own made quinoa, bean & spinach cutlets flavoured with Kalamata olives, herbs & garlic that we roast & serve interleaved with slices of char grilled aubergine, served with a sauce made with tomato, red wine & garlic. £14.25
STUFFED MUSHROOMS
For those that still like the texture of meat, a brace of breakfast mushrooms with a filling
of soya mince in an Italian style tomato garlic & mushroom sauce topped with sliced tomato coated with herbed breadcrumbs and baked in the oven. £14.25
MOROCCAN CHICK PEA & SQUASH TAGINE
A selection of vegetables sautéed in a fragrant mix of cumin, cinnamon, ginger, paprika & turmeric before being cooked in a sweet sauce of tomato, garlic & almonds. £14.25

SEAFOOD
We use only fresh local fish from two local fishermen & Westcountry catch of Chickerell, so our selection is dependent on their catch and the weather conditions. Please see the chalk board for availability and choices.

MAIN COURSES
PORK SHANK CUBA LIBRE WITH MOJO SAUCE
The original Cuban pork hock recipe has the hock marinated in rum, garlic, chilli, herbs, sugar & orange & lime juice. We have replaced the sugar with coca- cola to create the pork hock Cuba libre. Served with Mojo sauce, we’ve used the flavoursome marinate to make this popular spicy Cuban sauce. £14.85
CHESTNUT & APPLE PHEASANT
Breast of pheasant stuffed with an apple, sweet chestnut & pheasant forcemeat, braised in a cider stock before being wrapped in smoked streaky bacon & roasted. Served with apple wedges & a chestnut & cider cream sauce.  £14.75
OLD ENGLISH JACOBS LADDER
This cut of beef is more commonly known to the rest of the world as beef short rib a cut that needs long slow cooking which results in a rich flavoursome dish. Ours is first cured with a rub of salt, spices & mustard before being braised with stout & horseradish. Served in its cooking juices with braised onions. £14.95
GREEK STYLE MEDALLIONS OF GOAT
Shoulder of goat stuffed with Kalamata olives, anchovies & garlic that we roast, slice & sear, served interleaved with slices of char grilled aubergine, served with a sauce made with tomato, red wine & the pot roasting juices. £15.25

Lamb rump strips marinated in lemon juice, spices & mint, speared onto a double kebab griddled & served hanging over char grilled aubergine, onion and tomato.

OZZIE’S IRISH CREAM BREAD & BUTTER PUDDING
Made from sweet croissants instead of bread, flavoured with an Irish cream liqueur & cream enriched egg custard. This is the one dish our customers will not allow us to take off the menu. Served with cream, or in a sea of custard. £4.90
DARK CHOCOLATE DELICE WITH A TIRAMASU THEME
A rich dark chocolate delice on a thin base of almond & coffee sponge sprinkled with a cocoa & amaretto crumb, served with a rum & mascarpone panna cotta . £5.25
BLACK TEA TOFFEE PUDDING
